East Kilbride Credit Union Ltd is an ethical financial co-operative owned and run by its members who save together and have access to affordable credit.  Anyone who lives or works in East Kilbride or Strathaven is welcome to join.

We have been providing first class financial services in East Kilbride for over 25 years and extended into Strathaven in 2008.  The credit union is run by members for members and over 10,000 residents have already made use of our services.  We also have a thriving junior membership, with almost 600 youngsters making excellent use of our savings facilities.

The credit union is controlled by a Board of Directors elected from the membership and is managed on a day-to-day basis by the manager and a dedicated and talented team of staff and volunteers.

As with banks, we are also regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and are part of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme that guarantees up to £85,000 of individual saving in the event of any problem.
