We’re incredibly proud to share that East Kilbride Credit Union has been recognised with two SME Awards, a fantastic achievement for our organisation and everyone involved in our journey.

As a community-owned, not-for-profit credit union, everything we do is centred around supporting our members to save, borrow responsibly, and build financial resilience. To have this work recognised at a national level is a real honour and a moment of reflection on how far we’ve come together.

These awards belong to our staff, volunteers, and members. From the frontline team supporting members every day, to the volunteers who give their time and expertise, this recognition reflects a shared commitment to ethical finance, community support, and putting people before profit.

We’re especially proud that our work goes beyond financial services. From financial education and school engagement to partnerships that support local families, our aim has always been to make a positive and lasting difference across East Kilbride and the surrounding communities.
