We’ve Switched Card Payment Providers – What You Need to Know
At East Kilbride Credit Union, we’re always looking for ways to improve the services we offer to our valued members. As part of this commitment, we have recently switched our card payment provider from Worldpay to Cardnet, operated by the Bank of Scotland.
This change brings with it some exciting new features and a few updates on how payments will work going forward.
New Features for Members
We’re pleased to announce that with Cardnet, members can now make payments using:
✅ Google Pay
✅ Apple Pay
This added convenience allows you to manage your payments seamlessly and securely, whether you’re using your phone, smartwatch, or other compatible devices.
Changes to Office Payments
To make the payment process more efficient, we no longer hold a card terminal in our office. But don’t worry – we’ve made it even easier to pay:
- Debit Card Payments: Members can still pay in-office using their debit card. Our team will securely input the payment into the Cardnet system.
- Payment Links: If you prefer, we can send you a secure URL link to complete your payment online. This allows you to pay quickly and conveniently wherever you are.
Our Preferred Payment Method
While we’re excited to introduce these new options, our preferred payment method remains Standing Order.
Here’s why:
- Cost Efficiency: Standing Orders help reduce costs for East Kilbride Credit Union, allowing us to reinvest more into the services we provide.
- Convenience: Once set up, payments are automatic – no need to remember payment dates!
We appreciate all members who continue to use Standing Orders as their payment method, helping us operate efficiently for the benefit of everyone.
